OUR SERVICES

Engineering support from concept to construction.

We provide coordinated structural and allied engineering consultancy for institutional, commercial, healthcare, defence and infrastructure projects. Our approach combines sound engineering judgement, code-based design, clear documentation and practical coordination with the wider project team.

WHAT WE DO & HOW WE DO IT

Technical expertise.
Practical delivery.

Each assignment is tailored to the project brief, site conditions, applicable codes, construction method and approval requirements.

01 / DESIGN

Structural Design Consultancy

We design safe, serviceable and economical structural systems for new buildings and infrastructure.

What we do

  • RCC and structural steel design for institutional, commercial, residential and special buildings.
  • Foundation, column, beam, slab, staircase and framing design.
  • Structural drawings, schedules, design notes and coordinated details.

How we do it

We review architectural drawings and geotechnical inputs, establish design criteria, develop and analyse a structural model, check load combinations and code requirements, then issue coordinated drawings and calculations for review and construction.

02 / QUALITY

Third Party Quality Assurance (TPQA)

Independent quality monitoring to help confirm that construction work aligns with approved drawings, specifications and quality requirements.

What we do

  • Site inspections and review of workmanship and materials.
  • Verification of test records, quality documents and inspection requests.
  • Observation reports, non-conformance notes and corrective-action follow-up.

How we do it

We review the quality plan and approved documents, conduct scheduled or agreed site checks, record observations with supporting evidence, and track closure of issues. The scope and reporting frequency are agreed with the client at the outset.

03 / QUANTITIES

Estimation & Bar Bending Schedule

Clear quantity and cost documentation to support tendering, budgeting, procurement and site execution.

What we do

  • Quantity take-offs and civil/structural estimates.
  • Reinforcement quantities and bar bending schedules (BBS).
  • BOQs, measurement summaries and drawing-based quantity checks.

How we do it

We work from the latest coordinated drawings and specifications, measure structural elements systematically, prepare reinforcement cutting and bending details where information permits, and organise quantities in reviewable schedules for checking and procurement.

04 / INDEPENDENT REVIEW

Structural Proof Checking

Independent technical review of structural design calculations, models and drawings, with transparent reporting of loads, load combinations, design criteria, code references, assumptions and software outputs to identify inconsistencies and assess compliance with applicable standards.

What we do

  • Review of design basis, loads, combinations and analysis assumptions.
  • Checks of member design, stability, foundations and detailing.
  • Comments and recommendations for design resolution.

How we do it

We examine the submitted design basis, calculations/model outputs and drawings, carry out independent checks appropriate to the agreed scope, document technical comments and review the designer’s responses before closing comments.

05 / SITE INPUTS

Geotechnical Investigation & Topographical Survey

Our in-house geotechnical team provides site investigation and soil assessment inputs to support informed, reliable foundation design decisions.

What we do

  • Plan and carry out geotechnical investigations through our in-house team.
  • Review borehole logs, soil strata, groundwater observations and laboratory results.
  • Use geotechnical recommendations to inform foundation options and design inputs.

How we do it

Our in-house geotechnical team assesses site conditions, reviews soil strata and groundwater observations, and evaluates relevant field and laboratory test results. We use the findings to establish appropriate geotechnical design parameters and integrate foundation recommendations with the structural design.

06 / BUILDING SYSTEMS

Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP)

Building-services coordination that helps integrate services with the architectural and structural design.

What we do

  • MEP coordination and service-layout integration.
  • Review of shafts, risers, plant rooms, openings and service routes.
  • Coordination of drawings and identification of potential clashes.

How we do it

We coordinate with the relevant design disciplines, review service requirements against available spaces and structural framing, resolve interfaces early, and document agreed provisions. Detailed specialist designs are provided by the responsible MEP discipline where separately appointed.

07 / SITE & SURVEY

Topographical Survey

Site-level and terrain information to support informed planning, site coordination and engineering design.

What we do

  • Topographical survey and site-feature mapping.
  • Capture of levels, contours, boundaries and relevant site features.
  • Survey information to support planning, drainage and design coordination.

How we do it

We collect and organise survey data into clear drawings and deliverables, coordinated with project requirements and other design inputs.

08 / CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT

On-Site Structural Support

Practical structural engineering support throughout the structural construction stage, through completion of the structural works.

What we do

  • Respond to structural drawing and detailing queries.
  • Review site conditions and proposed technical resolutions.
  • Support coordination between the department, architect, contractor and site team.

How we do it

We provide timely technical clarifications, documented recommendations and agreed site support so structural work can progress with clarity and confidence.

TRANSPARENT ENGINEERING

Reports that make design decisions easier to verify.

Our structural reports do more than present software output. We clearly document the engineering inputs and checks behind the results, so reviewing officers and project stakeholders can follow the basis of design even if they do not routinely use structural analysis software.

Loads & load casesDead, live, wind, seismic and other project-relevant loads considered.
Load combinationsApplicable combinations and governing cases used for design checks.
Design assumptionsMaterials, restraints, modelling assumptions, code references and key parameters.
Results & verificationSoftware outputs supported by explained checks, observations and conclusions.

DELIVERY COMMITMENT

Responsive support. Clear deliverables. Even on tight timelines.

We understand that project schedules can be demanding. We work to agreed priorities, maintain responsive communication and provide practical technical clarifications through the structural works, while keeping design assumptions and key checks visible for review.

OUR WORKFLOW

A clear process at every stage.

A disciplined workflow keeps the design coordinated, reviewable and ready for the next project milestone.

01. Understand

Confirm the brief, scope, deliverables, site information and approval requirements.

02. Analyse

Establish criteria, review inputs and carry out engineering checks and calculations.

03. Coordinate

Resolve interfaces with architecture and other disciplines; document decisions.

04. Deliver

Issue drawings, reports and schedules, then address review comments within the agreed scope.
